right now- yes to varying degrees.

Donaire is a huge BW and he's gotta have the biggest punch at 118, couple that with probably being the fastest bw and you have a hard guy to pick against.

          Nonito stomps all the bantamweights
no need to jump straight to 126 or even 122
bantamweight has many names right now
Nonito can clean them out and establish greatness

I don't doubt that he could make the weight comfortably and be in good shape.

Donaire was huge for 112 and 115, and I don't think he'll be at 118 for long. He's just using it for a pay day versus Montiel IMO.

man, this would make my whole 2011-12.

I wish it would happen. If mares or Agbeko looks impressive in the finals, Donaire better at least stick around for that fight.

I can agree with that assesment, I don't think Nonito has the best resume at bantam but his combination of size and skills gives him an edge over the competition

I fancy Montiel to beat him tbh.

I think by the end of career Donaire can even go up to the lightweight division. If he does so it would make him one of the GOATs.But I'd favor Gamboa over Donaire, but not sure at the outcome. Also I don't think he would be able to compete with welterweights, he would need power to hurt them and chin to take their shots like Pac.
