    It is, but Wlad's made it clear he doesn't care less if Haye retires without fighting him. That's not cowardice, that's called not being played for a mug. As far as his position is concerned he's laughing. His recognition as king of the division is secure, and he has plenty of options in the near future. Haye, not so much. He's backed himself into a bit of a corner, and now risks exposing himself to the British public as the blowhard that he always was.
