I agree 100% with manonmoon. Paquiao fans need to be as pissed that he fights washed up fighters at catchweights. I won't waste my time or money watching this joke of a fight for $60. As for me I'm not trippen cuz I'm a fight fan and there are plenty of great fights out there that don't include PAC. The best fights are the fights we watch for free. PAC will only fight for money not for boxing supremecy. PAC fans believe watching a one sided fight is a good fight? Wake up!! The best SuperBowls for example are the games that are closley matched! Nobody believes a blowout is entertainment unless ur a PAC fan! I just really don't understand why I've never heard a Pac fan demand a good fight. But I think I know why. They don't know what a good fight is. They only watch one fighter which they really only supported when he became champ. Not really fight fans so how would they know. It's just the truth. Fight fans like the ones in this post that know boxing have seen PAC just like me. When he was fighting cross eyed,blonde haired with no fear trunks on. Please spare us all the one sided opinions. Please stop talkng that same old weak excuse about money and average fight fans. You are really talking about non fight fans that will tune in to 2 fights a year for $65. These fight fans are being lied to. Tricked into believing because a guy was good 12 years ago he is great and dangerous? If that were true why doesn't MJ come back and whoop LeBron 1 on 1. Cuz his time has come and gone. We are here as real fight fans demanding that a rich fighter who doesn't need money should fight the best at whatever division he's in to prove he's the man!! PAC has made more money than Ali Frazier Holmes Marciano and any other great hall of fame boxers in one fight its truley a disgrace to sit here and say average fight fans and filled arenas should judge who his opponents should be. Fight of the year Marquez V Katsidis!!! I don't see PAC's name anywhere close to the real fighters and real fights in my opinion! PAC catchweight weakness is "played out". i think we are seeing what happens when you get raised too high on a pedestal....

being p4p no. 1 / baddest man on the planet / ATG / GOAT etc. etc. creates mythical expectations because they are fantasy titles not real ones....

the catch 22 then becomes that by being the so called "greatest" you are stuck.... if you fight simple fights that make you look good then the average fan falls in love with you and you continue to make more money.... however you lose the respect of the fans who brought you there...

if you take hard challenges then you may struggle (even if you win) and then the luster goes off your mythical status... talk of being exposed and overrated happens coz noone is meant to be able to even touch you let alone hurt you... and so you may gain the respect of the pure fight fan but lose the $$$ which come with average fan adulation

lets not forget that these are just men... not gods

but when you ride the mythical chariot (to make you money) then you always incur the wrath of the seasoned fan who knows that this image is just smoke and mirrors...

But his fight choices after Cotto are part of this "appeal to the average fan" wagon.... and the catchweights are a way to maintain the mythical status...

Hardcore fans know the truth but casual fans bring the dough... it's a shame it has to be this way

It's simple really, If you don't want to fight at catchweights, don't fight a midget phenom coming up in weight.

As far as Mosley, who's better? Berto hasn't beaten any-body. Just as the case was with Margarito, there's nobody better. And when he fought Cotto, everybody complained that it wasn't Mosley!
