I agree 100% with manonmoon. Paquiao fans need to be as pissed that he fights washed up fighters at catchweights. I won't waste my time or money watching this joke of a fight for $60. As for me I'm not trippen cuz I'm a fight fan and there are plenty of great fights out there that don't include PAC. The best fights are the fights we watch for free. PAC will only fight for money not for boxing supremecy. PAC fans believe watching a one sided fight is a good fight? Wake up!! The best SuperBowls for example are the games that are closley matched! Nobody believes a blowout is entertainment unless ur a PAC fan! I just really don't understand why I've never heard a Pac fan demand a good fight. But I think I know why. They don't know what a good fight is. They only watch one fighter which they really only supported when he became champ. Not really fight fans so how would they know. It's just the truth. Damn that was well said. Look at it this way, free HBO will most likely have a great fight on the week after this PPV farce so they can parlay it as a pre-recorded undercard to the live, main event. That's really the only silver lining to this May 7th screenplay in that May 14th should be the real deal.

This may not be the fight that most boxing fans want to see, but nevertheless a fight that is definitely going to happen come May. We might as well enjoy it for whatever entertainment value it has. I will buy this one with the hope that they will give us a better match-up next time.

Exactly at least he is giving a fight rather than building up his rap sheet like Mayweather and after this bout there will be other options like a Bradley Alexander winner and hopefully Uncle Roger will be in the clear soon too.

You are 100% correct. Manny legacy is built on fighting washed up weight drain, damage fighters coming off beatings, or being knocked out. I know Berto hasn't fought anyone, but I promise you he would give manny all he wanted and then some. Top Rank knows this.
