  • Comments Thread For: Audley Harrison is Sweating: It's D-Day or Payday

The nature of Audley Harrison's third round KO defeat to WBA heavyweight title-holder David Haye will be examined by the BBBoC later today. The board will decide if Harrison, who threw a handful of shots and landed a couple of jabs during the contest, should be paid in full for his night's work or punished for not putting up enough of a fight.

I thought he already got paid.

    He needs poker money.

Personally, because he didn't throw a single left-hand I don't think he should get paid.

What does the board do with the money though? Donate it to charity or line their own pockets?

They should give up their salaries as well then, as they do about as much as Audley did.

I was under the impression that Audley had already received his payment for the Haye fight?

Either way, I agree with the original column. The fight was licenced, we knew it wouldn't be value for money and Audley would embarass himself. And that is what happened. Therefore not paying him I think would be unfair.

I am not a fan of Audley, but I don't think holding back his money is right, and I wouldn't get my £15 back either.

Its not like they're going to keep his whole purse

Just a percentage if any like they did to Paul Briggs in the Danny Green fight

It's a disgrace if they withhold it. Audley shold go in there and give them his left hand from hell.
