You are trying too hard and I am worried that you will hurt yourself. I could regal you with a very long list of Puerto Rican accomplishments but that would be contrary to progress. We feel strongly that in order to move forward, you as a Mexican brother, must rise above your feeling of inferiority that moves you to make long lists of Mexican accomplishments. My main concern now is your weakness in math and of course, your sense of exaggeration in terms of Mexican superiority over Japan, Indian etc etc.

I see this crisis, that so often goes under the radar as "pride," way too often in my Mexican brothers and I wish for them a day in which, proving their value to the world, was not the only thing on their minds.

It is certainly not the first time someone has failed to understand the sheer implications of such a gross disparity. Surely, you are not the first Mexican brother to disregard Puerto Rico's young history of only 500 years when making a comparison to Mexico. Many before you have not been farsighted enough to understand how these factors play into the comparison.

I am worried that may at some point become separated from your personal wealth if your math skills are this rudimentary. I shudder to think that some devious man, will someday offer you to trade your $100 dollar paycheck for his $4 sandwich.
The first thing I'd like to instill in you would be to understand how 100 million is a much larger number than 4 million. I think once that registers in your mind, you will be better equipped to understand how Mexico is supposed to have "more" etc. I also think it will help you to grasp the fact that Puerto Rico is a culture of only 400-500 years old. Realizing these simple facts, one has to come to the conclusion that this tiny island is truly special indeed.
