Whenever I think Montiel I think the Johnny Gonzales fight, he has suprised me since then by doing big things but against a guy like Donaire I just can't see Montiel having enough.

Should be an excellent fight though (unlike the Gonzales fight).

Montiel seems to run a buit hot and cold, though I remember thinking he was lucky that night against Valdez. IIRC, the Valdez-Montiel fight was a fight people were using to justify Hasegawa beating him rather easily.

I don't want to count out Montiel as he's still a very good fighter and Donaire's chin has never been tested, but Montiel is going to have to walk through a lot of fire to land his bombs IMHO.
