I am sure Haye is happy about this since we know how much he hates to get in the ring and actually fight.

Looks like Haye might have to go to Germany or another country or get stripped. There goes his bargaining chip.

How so ? It WAS haye who backed out of the july 2nd fight not Wlad.

I predicted well in advance he would fight Fraudley so I think Holyfield is a likely shout for the Diva if Chag is ruled out.
Chaggy's performance against Valuev was miles better than Haye's.

Haye doesn't want any part of Chagaev. I've known that all along.

He wants another pigeon like Fraudley.

Holyfield might beat Haye. That would be hilarious.

He should fight 11-time champ James Toney.

Seriously, I don't see how this is a bad thing for Haye. Chagaev is an absolute nobody. At least Ruiz is an English speaker and has a win over Holyfield, that's an easier sell than Chagaev. I'm sure he can find somebody who's both a lower risk and an easier sell than Chagaev, even if it's a ****ty Valuev rematch.

In sporting terms it was ****, but financially Haye's done ****ing well by rejecting the Vitali fight and going for the WBA title instead.

Not only would that be hilarious, it would be awesome two-fold. One, Holyfield would become the oldest fighter to win a legitimate belt and two, Bernard Hopkins won't...
