It's illegal to jerk off in public too, so what's your point?

Holyfield is getting the slighted by the State Athletic Boards in my opinion.
Exactly - Holyfield's still capable of rational thought. If he wants to fight, and he can get paid to fight, then he should fight. If he suffers terrible consequences because of it, he has no one to blame but himself. I doubt the original poster's call to boycott or whatever he's planning to do to stop Mr. Holyfield from fighting, is any new perspective to Evander. It's not like the former champ's going to say, "Holy **** - these kids don't think I have it anymore? Well, that's news to me. In that case, I retire. Thanks for your BoxingScene thread. You saved my health"....

Holyfield is 42 and has lost 3 fights in a row. If he continues fighting he will get hurt. There needs to be an age limit.

Ray Mercer just went toe-to-toe with Shannon Briggs for five rounds before a fluke sixth at age 44.

George Foreman was older than Holyfield when he won the heavyweight title

Larry Holmes last won a fight as recently as 2002, older than Holyfield
