Well from what is understood it wasn't long at all, didn't have any amateur bouts and started training at 23 years old, he's 26 years old now so that tells you, he's just been training like non stop to become champion.

Like you said it doesn't matter who you are or where you're from, that is a great accomplishment, i wish him the best...

That's why u have to want it and never let people who have never fought much less sparred say anything to you. Follow your dreams and give it your all, simple n plain. Respect.

That's great a story but just because he had no amatuer experience doesnt mean that he didnt learn the basics growing up.. His dad was a boxer so im sure he spent good amount of time in the gym, just learning.. When ur father is a boxer, things like this just comes naturally....

Im more impressed by Cintron... He took up boxing at 19 or something, made a transition from wrestling to boxing... I doubt Vazquez Jr will be successfull as cintron..

Cintron is also an interesting story. However, i see wv2 being ore successfull. He is already headlining ppv's and there were talks of him meeting with top rank. I am not the guys biggest fan, just stating the facts.

IM sure he has more following due to his daddy and he may be more popular but that doesnt make him a better fighter. Abilitywise, he's nowhere near Cintron's level. It's totally obvious that boxing isn't natural for Vazquez. Just going by movements in the ring, it's obvious that he has to think before his every move instead of letting it out naturally.. He has no fluidity.

                Cintron is the real deal

This wasn't done to compare the guy to any one else bro.. Just to tell some of his story, I personally haven't heard of anything like this before...

You can tell that WV2 is still a very very crude boxer....
