This is so disappointing from Haye - a year or 2 ago he was ready to clean out the HW division and going to destroy everyone...now he is settling for this?

He has at least a few years left - all this retirement at 31 crap is a joke. Why is he talking like he has been in serious wars (I know he has had the odd battle here and there)?

To have a mindset where you know you are quitting the sport must surely affect your concentration.

Klitschkos will be laughing at this!

there is 1 upside i can see out of all of this crap!...that is...Booth will soon be gone from the boxing scene. once Haye retires as a complete heavyweight joke, George Groves wont be too far belong in considering a new trainer after Booth feeds him to Degale which IMO he is no where nearly ready for...but Booth seems to think he is, hopefully in 2012 we can at least be free from adam booth and his ego

          David WHO???

          To hell with this carnt.

It's obvious he was only using the Klitschko name to get himself some good paydays at heavy without having to fight him.

Can commend him on that. The fraud sure was a good rip off merchant. Now he's made his money and if pi$$ing off.

          Good riddance.

I hope Chagaev beats the **** out of him and ruins his farewell fight with Holyfield.

In the grand scheme of Heavyweight Champs Haye's reputation will be on par with that of Bruce Seldon.

I would actually rate Seldon a little bit higher because even though he lost he still actually stepped between the ropes to fight Rid**** Bowe and Mike Tyson.

Flaming David Haye is just too easy. If that's what I wanted to do that's what I would have done.

In all seriousness he is not the 1st piece of **** undeserving Heavyweight Champ of the last 20 years. He is however, the only one who turned down a 10 million dollar payday against the best fighter in the division.

Can anyone imagine Bruce Seldon saying "Nah I don't want all that money to fight Tyson. I'd rather fight a couple bums for 20% of the money and retire without messing up my pretty face."

David haye is a b*tch. Him and Gayweather are disgraces to the sport.

Haye you cant alk about having one fight too many when you have had so little fights and the bros are way older than you!!!!

You have over achieved by winning the heavyweight title, even if it was against rubbish opposition. But if you are truly capable of beating either klitscho and you genuinely believe you can, to not do it, you wouldnt be achieving your latent potential. And youve only got one chance at this. Its now or never.

Youve talked too much now, too much has been said to not fight one of the bros at least. You should be fighting both of them like you said, but we know you never would. So at least one of them. You know you have to.
