I don't believe he will retire. Nobody walks away from a career defining fight and biggest payday ever. I'm speaking for Wlad and Haye here.

He'll retire. When he runs out of money later, when Vitali is retired and Wlad is older, he'll come back.

Well with Wlad and Hayes respective fights they definitely won't fight before Hayes 31st, so the only option is Vitali, who Haye does not want to fight first.

It's all promotional bull**** anyway, Haye won't retire when their is so much money left to be made with a fight against Wlad in, maybe December.

He's pretty much got to retire now ... nothing says he can't "unretire" later.

This is so disappointing from Haye - a year or 2 ago he was ready to clean out the HW division and going to destroy everyone...now he is settling for this?He has at least a few years left - all this retirement at 31 crap is a joke. Why is he talking like he has been in serious wars (I know he has had the odd battle here and there)?

To have a mindset where you know you are quitting the sport must surely affect your concentration.

At 30 years old (when heavyweights are at their prime), and with only 26 fights in his resume, the last four fights are with heavyweights who were on a decline, you would think and ask, why would this guy retire??? He is supposed to be at his prime now as a heavyweight. I truly believe that fear of being brutally KOed by heavyweights who are willing to fight him should be the one fear that brought him to think of retiring.

What has he done to boxing except playing with the minds of fans who are gullible to his flatteries and lies? Hisfights in the heavyweight division are not all exciting, given the fact that he was facing heavyweights past their prime.
