I have been off the forum for a few weeks and haven't read any details on the matter but from what I understand the fight was close to coming off, Wlad decides to fight Chisora first since he had to pull out, and then immediately after was going get back in camp for a fight with Haye in early July but now that isn't happening........why not?
Explain to me why Wlad/Haye did not come off?

Thanks, but I don't get why they wouldn't want him to fight Chisora 1st because with the fight about what 8 weeks apart he would have back to back fights and training camps possibly being worn out when he meets Haye. It would have been better for Davey if anything, hope they work it out as I have been hoping for 2 and a half years now.Comment

Wlad choosing to fight Chisora. = David being made by the organization to fight his manditory Chagaev, this is due to the previous clause that they gave him that if he had signed a contract with Wlad then he could pass up his manditory for a unification bout.
It doesn't make much sense on why Wlad would choose to fight Chisora for hells sake and not fight Haye. I think both are sick of each other and are bad as each other, though Haye gets credit for bending to all of Wlads demands and trying to get it sorted.Comment

Also.
If Wlad/Haye were to get injured in any way then the contract would be "pulled" and in the end, the fight that they went through was unnecessary for the sake of the megafight.Comment

Haye pretty much has to fight Chagaev now.
He isn't able to apply for a mandatory extension until after Wlad/chisora, and it's not likely the WBA will be happy with thatComment

Lol, Haye bending at Wlad's demands?Wlad choosing to fight Chisora. = David being made by the organization to fight his manditory Chagaev, this is due to the previous clause that they gave him that if he had signed a contract with Wlad then he could pass up his manditory for a unification bout.

The credit goes to Wlad for being willing to give Haye a 50/50 split that he doesn't deserve.
Haye pulled out because apparently he found it unacceptable that Wlad fought Chisora on April 30th, like Haye is anyone to go around telling Wlad when he can or can't fight.Comment

Ahhh I see Haye's reasoning for not wanting the Chisora fight to take place makes sense, Chag is a risk of sorts with virtually no reward, and he could lose his position in negotiations with Wlad depending on how that fight goes.Comment
