Excellent unbiased appraisal of the decades dominant heavyweight. I recommend it to all numbskull haters.

Wlad and Vitali will always be remembered for dominating the Heavyweight division during the 2000's.

And here is a food thought.

Despite that criticism of not knocking out Ibragimov at MSG, he still Ko'd two guys who are almost Knockout proof.

Eddie Chambers, with his Turtle Shell defense seemed like a guy who could never get Ko'd and would only lose on points.

Samuel Peter - Besides the other Klitschko brother, seemed like a David Tua-esque Iron Chinned fighter.

Both Stopped. The Klitschko's own their opponents in every way possible. First they school them for a period of rounds in boxing and then they stop them, the best of both worlds if you really look at it.

dominant in a bad era with poor opposition.

the one thing that really annoys me is they show no desire to please sports fans by trying to be exciting and crowd pleasing by not letting go more,by not going for the KO asap,by not using better more pleasing and deadly combinations.

i mean wlad has a dangerous jab hook and uppercut, but you dont see it enough.

just jabs a lot, clinches, doesnt up the pace, doesnt go for the KO as soon as he sees the guy infront of him cannot get on the inside.

they dont give thier all, they dont go out of fights leaving it all in the ring.

in all fairness, for the eyes of casual fans, the majority of boxing fans, Wlad needs a fight to remember and thats a fight with Haye.

                Vitali fought Lennox.

A Klitschko fight is an event in Germany, the whole stadium is filled and they put on a show.

The fights last longer than they should because people are there to have a good time and the longer the fight goes on the better, both for the fans there and revenue by the advertisement between rounds.

Getting a KO in 1 round each time wouldn't be very appeasing to the home fans.

Oh so it's always poor opposition when one single fighter is dominating the entire Division?

But when there is no dominant fighter and they're all having a life and death fight like Ali-Frazier, then it's just both of them being great fighters right?

This is a ****** criticism. Neither guy is Mike Tyson, neither guys trademark is to get guys out of there withing 2 to 5 rounds each and every time. What they are, is tall boxers who have perfected their Tall-style of fighting.

Throwing combinations? So a 6'7 guys with 250 pounds should throw combos, when there are some 5'8 Welterweights who don't even do it each and every fight?

i mean wlad has a dangerous jab hook and uppercut, but you dont see it enough.

He uses it plenty according to the style that Steward helped to perfect.

He ko'd Chambers in the 12th, again you can make these criticism on aggressive power punchers, not a technical boxer.

they dont give thier all, they dont go out of fights leaving it all in the ring.
They do give it their all. Sticking to the game plan and not losing focus is part of giving it your all.

Otherwise Wlad would've been KO'd again like he did with Brewster, where he threw too many combos for such a big man and ran out of steam.
