It will be a good action fight,I give Peterson a good chance based on the fact he likes to mix it up on the inside..Khan is not that good on the inside,I see Khan winning a UD but I would not be surprised if Khan got hurt in this fight and if there was a decision that many felt was wrong..

Peterson will apply pressure, and force Khan to work a lot and move a lot, and he'll start to wane. I expect Peterson to eventually get on the inside and put in some good work, especially to the body. I think these moments will come a little to late for him though, and Khan will take a competitive decision due to the rounds he'll put in the bank early on.
I could not have said it better myself..I totally agree with this post Green K sent..

Khan seems to waste too much energy in fights, he's going to have to find a balance because he can't be losing that much steam against everyone or someone will find a way to finish him late.
I thought with the advantages Ortiz came in with Peterson did a great job..I also scored the fight a draw but in my eye's that means Peterson really won it,the only thing to save Ortiz was the knockdowns which was bound to happen,Ortiz was a MW..

I actually think Khan would be better with another trainer. I think Roach is starting to slip and Khan doesn't have the chin for the style he is being trained for.
Yeah he was getting hit hard, and those uppercuts!

            Defensive trainer like Roger mayweather?

People who are calling this a mere keep busy fight are really discrediting this competitive match-up. With Peterson, Amir has to deal with a fast-paced, not face-first fighter who is about the same size as Amir but has the reach advantage.

Amir hasn't faced a fighter with that style. Peterson is also ranked in the top 10. I still expect Amir to win but won't be surprised if Amir beats him by a small points-margin.

Manny Steward would be perfect for Amir. I've been saying this all along.

You can't really take away points from Ortiz because he gained so many pounds.

If Ortiz is rehydrating up to around 155, it's because he has to take off plenty of water weight. 24 hours isn't enough to recuperate from taking off that amount of weight. That weight could have made him weaker, could have dropped his output, or taken away some of his punch resistance.

Remember Cotto at 140? He would gain just as much as Ortiz and would get buzzed and hurt repeatedly, but at 147 all of that seemed to change and that's because of that.

Great job on both sides, even though it made for a **** fight.

He should fight Prescott, no one in the UK knows who Peterson is, at least anyone whos know of Khan knows who Prescott is. Khan can then finally put the loss to bed.
