    Khan vs Peterson

Amir Khan-Lamont Peterson Eyed for April 16 in England!

Will this be a good one? Winner gets Bradley-Alexander winner?

    Break it down...

Peterson stunk it out against Ortiz, but that was more because of the gameplan he had to implement against Ortiz, instead of his style.

Lamont is going to come forward and put a lot of pressure on Khan. Khan is going to handle it well, until the last few rounds, it'll fall in between the Kotelnik and Maidana performances. Khan seems to waste too much energy in fights, he's going to have to find a balance because he can't be losing that much steam against everyone or someone will find a way to finish him late.

If this is a stay busy fight he should just rematch Prescott.

This fight is much closer than most people think. Peterson is much faster and sharper than Maidana. I know he doesn't hit as hard, but he will catch Khan more often than Maidana was able to and Khan didn't show very good defense in that fight. I actually think Khan would be better with another trainer. I think Roach is starting to slip and Khan doesn't have the chin for the style he is being trained for.

Khan is the better physical talent and holds advantages in speed, and I expect him to win. However, Peterson is nearly identical in height to Khan and has a longer reach, so he won't have the advantages he normally does in those area.

Peterson will apply pressure, and force Khan to work a lot and move a lot, and he'll start to wane. I expect Peterson to eventually get on the inside and put in some good work, especially to the body. I think these moments will come a little too late for him though, and Khan will take a competitive decision due to the rounds he'll put in the bank early on.

good stay busy fight, can compare his performance to bradleys one v peterson.

however, for good of boxing,he could have let haye have this date on sky,and fight himself in may/june.
