If Haye is such an "exciting" heavyweight, why has he never been on HBO?

Were his HW fights with Valuev and Audley exciting? Why did the Manchester crowd start booing during the second round of the Audley?

I do recall HBO was going to televise his fight with Wlad in June 2009, and HBO had agreed to televise his proposed fight with Vitali in September 2009. But Haye didn't have the courage to go through with either of those fights.
Who the hell said Haye was exciting? I'll tell you what, its ten times better to have never been on HBO than to be dumped by HBO, like Wlad was. Another epic fail by the ALT king of them all. lol

Mostly because it does not make sense from business standpoint.
Put back your indeginious feelings towards haye or wlad for a second, and take a closer look at HBO.
HBO as a whole hates to show fighters who are not fighting in the US, quality of the fighters not withstanding, after all they are showing berto and judah, and at this point David Haye is better then either midget.
I got more then one theory as to why are they not showing Haye or Wladimir(in the last 2 years) or many other fighters originating that side of the pond, and none of them really have anything to do with "whats fair for the sport". Its all about money for HBO and their contractual obligations to Golden Boy(real slave contract, if I ever seen one.)

          Yes.

All he had to do was to go though with the fight with Wlad in June 2009 which was slated for HBO.

And HBO had agreed to televise the fight with Vitali that he *****ed out of a couple of months later.

I think a better question to ask is why have the klits been dropped by HBO?

They claim the fights are too one-sided, and Greenburg prefers to showcase black and Hispanic fighters anyway.

Still the Klitschkos have been on 26 times.

And there are plans to televise Wladimir-Adamek.
