Why has David Haye never been on HBO?

Probably all of the above. Haye talks about maximising the profits for the Wlad fight but he wont even fight anyone good enough to get on HBO and build an American following.Comment

If I wanted to showcase Sergiy Dzinziruk, I'd put him in a unification fight with Cornelius Bundrage, or have him fight Yuri Foreman, Alfredo Angulo, or Vanes Martirsyan.
If I wanted Sergiy Dzinziruk to LOSE, I force him to move up a weight division to slow him down a bit, and have him fight the ONE opponent at 154-160 he has little of beating: slick southpaw Sergio Martinez.Comment

It was a joke.WTF, first people think HBO is racist against white Europeans and now this??? How about HBO is a business and if you aren't bringing in good numbers of interest and the fight isn't right, you aren't going to be show on the network. HBO isn't interested in the Klitschkos or Haye unless they are fighting each other or Adamek. Any other matchup in the division simply ain't worth their time.Comment

This is just insanely absurd. Yuri Foreman was only shown on HBO because he was matched up against a superstar in Miguel Cotto. K9 will never be shown on HBO, and Angulo is out of the question at the moment. HBO is a world class station and expects the very best of their matchups. It may of not always been like that but it is now. Sergio Martinez is the only good candidate for Dzinziruk to fight in those divisions. Has nothing to do with where he's from.If I wanted to showcase Sergiy Dzinziruk, I'd put him in a unification fight with Cornelius Bundrage, or have him fight Yuri Foreman, Alfredo Angulo, or Vanes Martirsyan.

If Greenburg was fair, he would have had Adamek, Bute, Pirog, and Dzinziruk on late last year, instead of Zab Judah and some other mediocre fighters. And he would have televised Wlad-Peter.
But if he refused to televise Wlad-Adamek, then his feelings toward East Europen boxers would be TOO OBVIOUS and boxing writers would call him out on it.Comment
