Can you imagine what Pac must think about mayweather? Or mosley back in 2009? Or de la hoya when he was prime? Or jmm?

I don't think anyone in their right mind would say Mosley knows boxing better than JMM or Cotto.

Mosley could very well be the strongest fighter Pacquiao has faced, not the smartest boxer at all. That distinction will have to go to JMM. One of the smartest boxers in the ring today.

So he was at 130 he's been at ww for 2 yrs. Plenty of time to pick on a prime fighter coming of a good win.

I would think you would give him credit for being smarter than Diaz, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and now Mosley.

Hoya wasn't anything special as far as ring smarts/IQ as his fight with Trinidad would tell you that.

I'm not saying De la Hoya's a brilliant fighter like Mayweather, just smarter than the names listed above that Pac has recently fought since fighting JMM. IMO there is a reason Pac hasn't faced a smart fighter. Calling Mosley the smartest fighter ever faced is just ******. First it was "dangerous", then "smart". What's next? Mosley will be young and prime (again)?

I like Holyfield's opinion on Mayweather and Pac (even if he's losing his mind) neither are #1.

IMO, Quality over quantity. Mayweather's one fight in 2010 IMO trumps Pacs two weak strategically selected fights. At the end of the day Martinez deserves to shine as #1. Attempting to sell the fight like Pac has been doing recently when everyone knows the truth does not justify as being the #1 P4P or best. Great business for Arum, but not for the sport. The fans know that. What we are getting and will get for the next 4 months is BS about how Mosley "should" perform and not how he WILL perform.

Out of curiosity, why would you give him credit for having a higher boxing IQ than those names? He might have been better than those 3, greater than those 2, more skilled than those 3. But, when has he ever made any done anything in the ring or any adjustments that would give you a reason to claim he has a higher boxing IQ than those 3?
