I don't believe so. I'm willing to bet all of my points on it too. I don't think there's anyone from 140-147 whom can exchange with Manny and come out on top. Best way to beat him is to swallow your pride and focusing on outboxing him.

mosley vs pac man or floyd gayweather vs christy martin? me id rather see a real fight than floyd beat on another woman...but i bet floyd fans are a lil nervous cuz christy has a punchers chance.

        this is a hard sell.

jmm, morales, and mab have more ring IQ than mosley, and possibly cotto too.

what does pac mean by mosley being a "busy puncher"? does he mean that mosley is a heavy handed guy who throws a lot of punches? or does he mean that mosley is a volume puncher. in any case, characterizing mosley as "busy" after the mora and wifebeater fights is erroneous.

I think the only way pac can sell this fight is by saying that styles make fights. just cause mosley looked like **** against mora and wifebeater doesn't mean he'll look like **** against pac. both mora and wifebeater are defensive fighters, but pac is an offensive fighter, so there will be fireworks as long as it lasts. but even as I'm typing this I am unconvinced since mosley has said he will box (ie. he will run and try to last 12 rounds).

too bad pac lacks the english necessary to really defend this fight to the american public.

honestly, pac should've signed to fight berto even tho berto doesn't deserve it.

I think Marquez was the smartest opponent Pacquiao has fought.

Mosley is kind of smart, I wouldn't put him in the top 10 smartest fighters list. With his size, handspeed, and power, he has more than a chance to beat Pacquiao who is no defensive wizard. But Mosley's age, stamina, and looks like he lost his legs, will be a problem for him in that Pacquiao fight.

Good post. A whole lotta good points there.

I dunno what Pac meant by " busy fighter " either ?

Clottey proved that Arum could've sold Berto.

If Manny takes one more mock fight like this one, I am DONE with the guy. I've enjoyed his wars in the featherweight divisions but lately these WTH match-ups have been an insult to my intelligence and those of other fight fans. A true champion is fearless and knows where he's most comfortable at in terms of weight. They duck none. If you can't afford to make the lbs limit, don't cut corners at the expense of your opponent. Roach goes on and on about size and how that stacks the odds against Pac--I call bull****. It's all smoke and mirrors to cover up for the obvious weight deficits and opportunistic schemes by Roach to choose only the most "exciting" bouts.

Where does that leave Sergio Martinez and Andre Berto...two of the hungriest guys out there desperate to make a plea? Suddenly Arum drops his(pacs') giant killer gimmick over scraping another exhausted name from Mayweathers resume. If you can't take the challenging fights without perverting the sport go back down to @%$#!&% lightweight and face Juan Manuel Marquez, give people something to talk about and stop catering to the inbred casual fans. (After all, if it's so easy for *Pac* to move up, it should be cake for a lineal champ of his calibre to *drop down* and meet an opponent, respectively.)
