YOu're right, Hopkins is looking for that money...and fighting in Canada will bring the money (Pascal and Bute).

He will continue to ignore CHad as he did for the past 5 years. CHad is a real threat with no value for Hopkins...

Hopkins could've beaten Chad Dawson right after he got done with Pascal on that very same night. It's just a waste of time because there's no money in the fight and when the fight was proposed HBO only offered 3 mill for both guys to split down the middle when Hopkins made 3 million flat against Pavlik. Some people just talk out of their ass and accuse Hopkins being afraid of Dawson when there's more to it.

I didn't like it when Hopkins fought Roy Jones and there was no excuse for taking that fight over one with Chad. But in my view, Hopkins redeemed himself after showing everybody that he wasn't afraid to fight in hostile territory against the guy who had just beat Dawson. Chad needs to prove his worth and either beat Cloud or Pascal.

good point Ice ....Chad should be looking at Cloud right now....its not the fact that Chad lost...its HOW he lost....he looked like a lost puppy in there....so you do have a point there

triangle?? no...Hopkins should already be the champ of 175 Ibs but because of the bullshit decision and the 2 early knock downs robbed him off that win...aside from that though a pascal rematch should be immediate so he can take what is his....

as for dawson hes a decent southpaw fighter who can give hopkins trouble and has a good chance at beating him...aside from that hopkins/pascal II needs to take place first then the winner should face Dawson whether it be Pascal or Hopkins..

I won't say B.Hop don't want it with Chad....if Chad could put more M's in B.Hop's bank account than the 2 names mentioned....then you can bet it would be on.....plus Chad has got to build up some steam again imo....but yea, Chad probably does fit the script of the type of fighter capable of handing B.Hop a "L"....but IF the fight was to EVER get made....I got B.Hop and I'll put money on that
