Joshua's problems are an easy fix... I just hope people around him can see it. His LACK of offense!!!! With such an excellent defense why not get with an offensive guru like Emmanuel Steward to further enhance his potential. He doesn't have a clue on how to set up punches or counterpunch. BoxingScene.com was advised that former welterweight champion Joshua Clottey (35-4, 20KOs) is likely going to return on the Miguel Cotto-Ricardo Mayorga undercard on March 12 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The bout will be untelevised and scheduled for either eight or ten rounds. The fight will be the first ring appearance for Clottey since the March 2009 decision loss to Manny Pacquiao at Cowboys Stadium in Texas.

I agree Clotteys biggest problem is when the punches really get started he tensds to turtle up. I noticed when he does land he odes seem to have some good power,and really can take a good punch. But needs to start firing back when under pressure and just jump into his shell.

Joshua "The Punching Bag" Clottey is back in action i see??? well its a good thing its not televised when he is fighting because frankly people would pick up their fucking phones and demand their money back along with saying "i bought to see a fight not a fucking walking punch bag and clinch fest"...unless of course he some how miraculousy changes his fighting style joshua clottey will always suck...

yeah he performed in the judah and corrales, cotto fights but he just went into a defensive turtle shell in his last fight and threw like 3 or 4 punches max a round...aside from that and being a former world champ if he does not change his style or learn to cope with fighters who have speed then he aint ever going to be on main events , big fights or earn big pay cheques again...
