Remember JMM is the Elite fighter here not KHAN!!!He can fight Peterson and Marquez will send Morales back to retirement then they can fight. He's only been at Junior Welterweight for 1 and 1/2 years.

His first fight at 140 was in July of 2009 and 3 of his 4 fights at 140 since then were against Top 5 - Top 10 opposition.

Kotelnik and Maidana are currently ranked 4 and 5 in the division.

Malignaggi was also a Top 10 Junior Welterweight when he beat him.

Now his next opponent is Lamont Peterson. Another guy ranked in the Top 10.

Look what he did to maidana in the first 3/4 quarters of the fight! And he is favourite against these guys before the fight as well.

Sorry, I can't agree with this thread. Khan hasn't fought anyone except Malignaggi and Maidana, and neither are elite. And Khan barley got past Maidana without being KO'd, he was running for his life. If anything, he is way overrated. His mouth has hyped him more then what he does in the ring. But that's just my opinion.
