How do people not pick up on whats happening. For whatever reason the klitschko's want Vitali to face Haye. Haye wants no piece of Vitali. But thats what the Klitschko's want. The negotiations should have ended there, but Wlad went through with them, most likely knwoing if he could settle on a price, a date and other things then he could be like "ok, but its not me, its the big vit." Its pretty obvious.

So yeah, Maybe Wlad is "ducking" Haye. (dont know how you can duck someone who has pulled out of contracts with you etc...), but Haye is blatantly ducking Vitali no doubt about it.

Haye is hilarious. How many fights has he pulled out of? I don't even like the klitschko's but listening to haye is like listening to arum.........when they say something you know the opposite is always true.

No, I get ya. I don't really mind if Wlad is getting out of the fight (if it *IS* his fault...these things have a way of turning around with just a fraction of extra detail) because of ego or contempt for haye. What I DO mind is that people seem to think Wladimir is trepidacious simply because he is (in my view) telling haye to go screw himself. The way I view it is that he is screwing with haye in a fashion reminiscent of the way haye did to him. haye had signed a contract with Wladimir and then bailed on the fight. So, Wladimir agrees to a fight with haye and then angles to get a fight in April to mess with haye.

Leading up to this the overwhelmingly popular mantra was that haye needs a Klitschko; they don't need him. Now, because of how this played out, suddenly Wladimir, in the myopia of haye fanatics and the British media, is ducking haye and never wanted any part of the fight. This is why I highlighted the portion of the post I did with commentary and why I am now responding to you. In essence, I agree that what you wrote and the post I quoted, and I don't care that Wladimir might be messing with haye. After all the crap he pulled, *I* think haye deserves this. It was a nice opportunity to give the longbowmens' fingers to the haye supporters.

Excellent assessment of the situation, what's worse is that if Haye really wanted Wlad, he would have called Wlad's bluff and said "Ok, you wanna fight Chisora in April, that's fine, we'll get it on in July." But he didn't he just called it quits.

Sorry, but the Klitschko's aren't a single entity. They are two seperate people. Wlad owns multiple belts and most importantly, the ring belt. Vitali is a title holder.

Haye vs Wlad is the fight people want and if that's the fight Haye wants he has that right.

First of all if haye was ready to fight earlier Vitali could get out of his deal to fight Solis. Second of all, when is Sky and RTL going to be ready to show the fight. July 2nd at the earliest. That is PLENTY of time for Vitali to get ready, do a big media tour etc...

Im a huge Klitschko fan, but heres the deal. Any fighter can lose. Anyone. (except maybe Joe Calzaghe...he was as close to perfection as any human being could ever hope to get). The Klitschko's arent morons, they know haye is a ***** and a lucky punch, an injury, an accidental headbutt +some joke judges giving Haye a TD in round 5 or some nonsense and Haye would retire saying, "I beat the best Klitschko, im the greatest etc..."

The Klitschko's clearly are aware of these fluke occurrences...not only have they happened to them (sanders, brewcrew, purrity, Byrd), and Vitali got screwed by no rematch with Lewis, but also we know they know since THEY PUT REMATCH CLAUSES IN EVERY CONTRACT. So have Haye fight Vit. If haye wins, the world will say, "cong**** you beat Vitali...he was good, but he was 40 YEARS OLD. Fight his brother." Both with 2 belts, tons of animosity, hatred, revenge, it would have everything. Especially if it came after Vitali beat solis, Haye beat Vit, and Wlad beat Chisora and Adamek. that would be huge. They know Haye plans to retire, they know that Chagaev brings less to the table than Harrison and that Haye can get out of the Chagaev fight, so they make Wlad legitimately unavailable until at the earliest December 2011 and theres the Big Vit ready and waiting for July 2nd. Vit has 1 title, Haye has 1 "title", its that simple.

One problem with this. Vitali has already had a career defining Fight.
