When he fought chris byrd for the second time Wlad was ranked number 1 by the wbo and ibf. He choose to fight the small old chris byrd who he had already beaten instead of rematching a prime Brewster.

Wlad is one of the biggest ducker in history.

He destroyed Brewster just 3 years later...
I don't think you can say he ducked a rematch.

his best win is the first win over Chris Byrd, imo. it was Byrd's prime, the second fight Byrd was noticably diminished and had struggled against guys liek Jameel McCline, older Andrew Golota and even Fres Oquendo in a fight Ive read he should have lost.
