B) It wouldn't be on network TV, CBS just happens to own Showtime so it would be PPV still, just a different carrier.

Yes. Just to make it clear for anyone getting their hopes up, this means they would be talking with the CBS corporation which owns Showtime, not the CBS television network.

The fight wont be on CBS. It's a PPV obviously. IF -- I said IF -- CBS/Showtime is involved it might mean some 24/7 style shows on CBS. But that's it.

It's not gonna happen folks.

If this goes to Showtime/CBS it would just be a Showtime PPV.
