Both fighters are responsible, but i voted for Haye on the basis that the fight was signed last year and he pulled out.
Which fighter is most at fault: Wladimir Klitschko or David Haye?

The man has not had a fight in December and had to pull out of a fight with Chisora due to injury. He wants to satisfy that contract and then fight Haye.
Why should that make any difference to Haye?
Oh yeah, he hasn't fought his mandatories yet...what a champ!Comment

Do you know how is money earned in boxing? You deliver on your promises to other fighters and to the public. They call them cotracts in legal language.
Plus, as all tune ups go, Chisora is a good one. He is young and strong, enough challenge to make Wlad prepared for HayeComment

Talk about stirring it.So, basically Haye does not want to fight a tune up in between. So, it is David Haye who does NOT want to fight, right?
So, the problem is clear, David Haye just does not want to fight, because in fact he is afraid to be underrecovered for the july 2 showdown, and it is not Wlad's problem, but David Haye's. Oh Gee, what a weakling for a champ we got.
Thank you for explaining that.
Just because Wlad wants to fight a bum in DelBoy doesn't mean Haye has to fight a legitimate threat weeks before Wlad.Comment

oh right so you say he isnt likely to even touch wlad in your previous post, but now he is young, strong and enough of a challenge? riiiiiiight!Do you know how is money earned in boxing? You deliver on your promises to other fighters and to the public. They call them cotracts in legal language.

Oh wait, this is how we have it, a fighter who has not looked good in ages, sick with Hep B, who arguably lost his last fight to a barely journeyman is a legitimate threat to Haye? Well, in context of Audley Harrelsons of the world he may be, but not in real world. And who holds Haye from fighting the guy on regular TV in March or April?
Dont tell me "PPV" because it IS a bad excuse.Comment

No way is Haye or Wlad going to fight in April/May and then again in July. This fight is a big event. It needs proper preparation and it needs promoting. You can't build up to one of the biggest fights of the year in 8 weeks. It's impossible. Thus Wlad knew signing with Chisora would scupper the fight and allow him to duck Haye. It's the only logical conclusion. So, basically Haye does not want to fight a tune up in between. So, it is David Haye who does NOT want to fight, right?

But Haye has already fought a bum and Wlad has already fought a "legitimate threat" so let Wlad take on his bum.
Whats it got to do with David Haye?Comment

usually champions prefer to fight other champions rather than mandatories. del boy for a fight that means nothing, or a heavyweight unification.......which would you prefer?Comment

Ofcourse, but thats the thing about Wlad, no one but his Brother is likely to touch him. The only real difference is could you make Wlad angry or not, not could you hit Wlad or not. Chisora is good enough to practice shots on, and shake off the rust. Thats his place.Comment
