His resume is not better than Floyd's.

Anyway Calzaghe gets credit for that win in the sense that I won't say Hopkins was washed up or garbage. That being said it is a bit ****** to say Calzaghe schooled Hopkins.

when bernard hopkins is involved....he lost two close fights to jermain taylor, yet you'll see plenty of folk on here claim he schooled taylor, same with calzaghe...every hopkins delusional fanboy on here still to this day say hopkins "schooled" calzaghe, despite the fact that the fight was close and he lost....same with pascal....gets knocked down twice, and pascal kept it close enough to get the draw, yet hopkins "schooled" pascal?...no what he needed to do was put pascal on his back...

so if anyone wants to say calzaghe schooled hopkins go ahead, because hopkins dirty tactics during that fight is proof positive...

i think because hopkins is an old fart, he gets sympathy votes

Bernard Hopkins used exactly the same (low blow) tactics against Robert Allen (3rd fight, 2004), Allen also got dropped (7th rnd) just like Calzaghe (1st Round),

``Oscar will beat Hopkins,'' Allen said. ``He (Hopkins) fights like an amateur. He out-maneuvered me. I had to challenge him every round, but he tries to steal every round.''

Bernard Hopkins also did the same in the Roy Jones rematch....

Please don't tell me this is also somehow "proof positive" that Robert Allen and Roy Jones also somehow 'schooled' Bernard Hopkins too??.......If so, it should be Robert Allen who gets the most credit.......at least Bernard Hopkins was under 40 in 2004, unlike the pensioner Joe calzaghe finally had the stones to face!

Well if he had schooled him, you may have a point.

I guess,Hopkins lost all 3 fights close.I don't see a schooling anywhere in there.I'm a fan of Hopkins,he didn't school them, nor they him.All the fights were close, because they were.As far as the Pascal thing goes,it's Pascal that jumped ahead of that fight & Hopkins caught up,a draw was well deserved. But just because U may have heard a couple fans say Hopkins schooled JC,I've heard plenty more say Hopkins was owned. But 2 wrongs don't make a right & if someone is gonna talk about the fight,no need to retaliate with some thing like,"well since he said Hopkins schooled him,I'll say he schooled Hopkins",that's just childish.

Hopkins was faking injuries the whole time because he couldnt beat Calzaghe straight up.

Calzaghe IMO beat Hopkins far more convincingly than Jermaine Taylor did. Calzaghe was the toughest fight of Bhops career.
