David Haye's manager and trainer, Adam Booth, has revealed that negotiations have begun for a mandatory defense of the WBA heavyweight title against Ruslan Chagaev at the end of May. The fight will happen in England. IBO/WBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko will defend his belts against Dereck Chisora on April 30 in Germany. If Klitschko and Haye are both victorious, a unification showdown on July 2 is possible.

Who is Booth kidding. July 2? Haye is fighting the end of May and would still fight July 2. I don't think so. This fight needs to happen already!

no way can haye or wlad fight so soon after fighting on the 2nd july,with no time for promotion either.

they could how ever fight in august/september/october(if dates are there still)

i really dont think Haye will be able to retire with just fighting 1 fight in his last year,and vs his crap mandatory.

and i dont think theres anyone out there bar klitschkos that makes a worthy retirement fight.

my gut says haye vs vitali happens in september/early october.

surely haye should be fighting 3 times if this is his last year in the sport though,
just cuz of sky being crap he will only fight twice maximum,and waste months doing nothing after so easily beating fraudley.

I have respect for both brothers but now i hear wlad is lining up a fight already in september against adamek! I really think wlad doesnt want to do anything with haye! Yeah you heard it right i never said wlad is a coward but now he is showing his true face! i lost respect for Wlad bigtime

Chagaev will not get cleared to fight in this country.
