    Pacquaio's Key to victory

I say May 7 will be an easy night for pacquiao if he just simply boxes shane mosley. I say in the early rounds all he has to do is work behind a good jab and stick and move in the first half of the fight. After Shane tires he should just start pouring on combinations all the way to a decision or maybe even a stoppage. The one thing he shouldnt do which almost got floyd knocked out is trying to trade shots with mosley so early on. Even at 39 Shane is still a threat and has punching power.

If you look at Shane's losses all of them came from fighters who used their boxing skills (mainly the jab) to slowly break Shane down. Shane had no answer for what his opponents were throwing and lost the match. It seems that he's very successful against fighters who come straight at him and tries to trade. This something pacman shouldnt do too early in the fight. If Pac uses his speed and quick footwork to simply outbox Shane early it definitely end in a sensational fashion for pacquiao.

    Mosley's key to victory

Now for Mosley I say his key to winning is one word, timing. Juan Manuel Marquez showed that if you can time Pacquiao just right then you can hit him. Shane has to do the exact same thing. The problem is that this is not an easy task to do. At 39 the question is his reflexes fast enough to accomplish such a task. We all know that he still has the power and speed to cause problems, but what about the timing. you can have all the power and speed in the world but if you can't time punches than you're stuck. the perfect time to catch pacquiao is when he throws that straight left hand. He still seems to be off balance a little bit whenever he throws that. The best thing to do is to for Shane to counter with his own straight right or hook before pac's even land. Thats why i hope floyd fights pac because it would be a contest's of the straight punches because the right straight is floyds signature punch.

Another opponent mosley is facing that night is time. Mosley doesnt have the youth anymore to go 12 high paced rounds with fighters like pacquiao anymore. I feel that he needs to catch pacquiao, hurt him, and knock him out early. This will be difficult but can be done. The interesting thing is that while Mosley may be pacquiao's oldest opponent, he will still be the hardest puncher pacquiao has faced. It would interesting to see how pac stands up to a flush hard shot from mosley, that is if he lands a flush shot. Yes Cotto, Hatton, Oscar, and Margarito had some pretty decent power but they all dont hit with as much speed and power as Mosley. Yeah I think Shane definitely needs to knock out Pac earlier in the fight in order to walk away the victor. Reason being is that while Shane will grow tired Pacquiao will just keep getting busier and busier which will make the night seem alot longer. Well I feel that this is what both fighters need to do to win. It just depends on which one executes their game better. Feel free to give me any inputs you might have

pac needs to use hit and run tactics for the first 4 rounds. either mosley comes at him and gets caught or mosley won't be able to handle the speed.

starting with the 5th round, pac needs to start pressuring mosley. fight is either gonna end with a late rounds KO for pac or pac is gonna win by UD.

mosley has only 2 things he can do. go for broke early and in a blaze of glory or he can run and last 12 rounds. other things he can do is pressure pac, get him to the ropes, where mosley can unload bodyshots and uppercuts. if mosley tries to box with pac, he will get beat up.

for this fight....Manny only needs to tape his hands, lace the gloves and stretch out before the match.

Mosley....he needs a tag-team partner, preferrably Floyd Mayweather.

                  Mosley:

Use your jab, handspeed and footwork/box him.

Handspeed: Pacquiao has sadly never fought a fighter with handspeed as fast as Mosley's, even at 40, Mosley has the fastest hands of all of Pacquiao's opponents. Pacquiao is in for a rude awakening when he sees Mosley is close, can match, or even be faster than him in handspeed which I doubt but definitely he'll be fast.

Jab: Margarito was keeping Pacquiao at bay with his mediocre jab in the first few rounds. Mosley's jab sucks but it's better than Margarito's.

Footwork/Box circles around the guy: Pacquiao hasn't fought a boxer in years. He's been fighting guys who are right there to brawl with him and be hit. Mosley needs to box him, fight smart. If the KO happens, then let it come by itself, don't force it. Don't look for one punch.

Pacquiao ain't knocking Mosley out. Forget it. It's not happening.

As crazy it sounds, I see Mosley as having the better chance of knocking Pacquiao out.

Pacquiao couldn't knock Margarito out. He's not going to knock Mosley out.

And BTW, @ "Mosley is good against fighters who come forward". Pacquiao has only fought guys who only come forward. Mosley has fought all kinds of styles. And about Mosley's losses, they were all bigger than him except Mayweather and Cotto. Winky is close to 6 feet tall, Forrest was 6 feet tall. But you know what Mayweather, Cotto, Winky, Forrest had in common, that Pacquiao does not have? They each can actually box. Pacquiao is a fighter, not a boxer. He doesn't know how to box against another boxer. He just looks like a boxer against slow, come forward fighters. Even Cotto could box a little at that time but he still had too much brawling in him and that was his downfall in the Pacquiao fight.
