  • Should David Haye agree to fight Wladimir Klitschko on July 2?

David Haye is angry that Wladimir Klitschko is taking a "stay-active" fight against Dereck Chisora on April 30.

Perhaps he feels jealous that Chisora will receive some UK media attention leadin up to the fight.

Wladimir Klitschko wants to fight Haye on their agreed-upon date of July 2.

But now Haye is saying he won't fight Wlad on July 2.

What do you think? Should Haye follow through and fight Wlad on July 2, or should he continue to avoid the Klitschkos?

        YES.

I don't like the idea of Wlad taking a "tune up" on april 30th, but David Haye shouldn't "Retire" from boxing because of it.

He wouldn't take April 30th because of what again? A Khan fight? LOL! How much of a bi tch to money is this fraud? Haye is beyond a joke. He'll whine and squeal like the Diva he is but guaranteed he'll take the July 2nd offer or a date close to it.

i dont understand what business is that of his whom Wlad fights, that's none of his business, his business is to be there when Wlad does him a favor and fights him.

IMO Haye should be more concerned with reserving a specially crafted King Suite in the hospital Wlad is going to send him to rather than worry about fight dates.

He should be lucky that he has the luxury of cashing in a 50% share with his resume of ATG heavyweights.

              Yeah he should.

I would like to hear official confirmation from the WBA about the Chagaev situation also.

Yes, just so long as there's a significant financial penalty if Wlad doesn't make it.

I'm not sure what's stopping Haye from getting his mandatory out of the way between now and then. Heck by the looks of Chagaev/Walker, it'd be almost as easy for Haye as the Harrison fight. That way they both get tuneups.

Also Haye could pay Chisora step aside money and fight Wlad in April or so.
