Yeah but it was a tune up fight for Floyd coming off almost a 2 year lay off. It's so funny how people fail to mention this.......

What ever ur example of a tune-up & mine are different I guess.IMO a tune-up shouldn't be on ppv.It also shouldn't be against a much smaller elite fighter, but if it is,at least have the courtesy to honor ur agreement.

hmm... let's see fighting an old fighter at his own weight or making a much smaller fighter climb 2 whole divisions, then pretty much throw the agreed weight contract out the window the day before weigh in... tough choice, brah!

Atleast Mosley has a punchers chance. Marquez had no chance.

Floyd Jr and Marquez fought at CATCHWEIGHT but, Floyd wasn't able to make the agreed upon CATHWEIGHT!

Marquez looks BLOATED and was Slow, tentative with his punches!

With this observation, I wonder how he will fight Pacman' speed with both hands capable of knocking Marquez.

Baldomir had 10 losses when Floyd fought him?

Was Mosley inactive for 1 year and 8 months when Floyd fought him?

Did Marquez only had 1 fight at 135 and Floyd cheated the scale and weighed at 147?

Floyd ducked all the Fighters Pac fought. Floyd is a scumbag who stayed at 147 for 6 years and the best fighter he faced was Baldomir
Ok let's examine both Mayweather and Frauduiao's recent fights

              Mayweather's last 5 fights:

Baldomir- far from elite no question about that, but he was the LINEAL welterweight champion who just defeated Zab Judah, that was an understandable fight for Floyd

De La Hoya-WBC super welterweight champion coming off a KO of Mayorga. Floyd MOVED UP TO sww to challenge DLH. THERE WAS NO CATCHWEIGHT DLH WAS ABLE TO WEIGH IN AT THE FULL 154LBS. while Floyd wieghed in at 150lbs.

Hatton-undefeated and won a belt at ww from Collazo, coming off a 4 round KO over Castillo via body shot. Many peole questioned why Floyd hadn't fought Hatton yet a la Brian Kenny

Marquez-the worst of Floyd's recent fights but Marquez was a tune up and was ranked #2 P4P in the world. Marquez did call Floyd out. Marquez was also coming off KO victories over Cassamayor and Diaz

Mosley-well, well, well, the man SO MANY people accused Floyd of ducking for years. Yes, Mosley was 38 and was coming off a layoff but he did destroy Margarito in his last fight...Remember when Mosley confronted Floyd after the Marquez fight, so many people said Floyd looked shook and was scared to fight SSM, really

Frauduiao's recent fights (He's been more active)

David Diaz-one of boxing's worst champions, probably on the same level as Baldomir, but Diaz was not the lineal lw champion, there were better champs available

De La Hoya-dude struggled against journeymen Steve Forbes and got busted up with a broken check bone. DLH hadn't fought as a welter in about 10 years. Frauduiao took full advantage of all of this.

Hatton-one of Frauduiao's best recent wins. Hatton was already flattened by Floyd and struggled against Lazcano. However, at least Hatton was coming of a KO over the legendary Malginaggi.

Cotto-never the same after Margarito, can you say catchweight? Demanding a catchweight against a defending champion huh, ok lol. Cotto showed guts but did not look good against Clottey.

Clottey-who has he beat, Zab Judah? lol. He couldn't even take advantage of a one eyed Cotto, who was a sitting duck. Clottey played the part of a punching bag against Frauduiao.

Margarito-what a disgrace. Marg was coming off a year suspension for cheating and was brutally KO by Mosley, but he had a thrilling victory against the dominant Robert Garcia. Frauduiao fought him at another CATCHWEIGHT FOR A VACANT BELT!

              Mosley-

I agree, tune-ups should not be on PPV. I didn't like the Marquez fight.

For me, making a lightweight come up to a 144 was pretty lame.

Then having to reneg and pay the LW off made me just shake my head and laugh.

Paquiao avoided the an older Marquez at the same 147 weight to fight Mosley. So the answer should be obvious.
