David Haye added: “If the fight doesn’t happen now, it never will. I’m done with the Klitschkos. I know I can retire later this year with my head held high, knowing I did everything in my power to make these fights happen. I’ve had defining fights and beaten the best in the world as a cruiserweight, but, without me, Wladimir can never say he’s done the same as a heavyweight.”

And everyone knows that Wlad has always tried to fight three times per year. Unambitious challengers have someytimes gotten in the way of this, and in 2010 it was the injury in November that reduced his appearances. But waiting eight months for a fight was always haye's agenda, never Wlad's. Haye should take a March voluntary defense with the Wlad fight already signed. He needs more wins at HW to be taken seriously anyway.

He promised Dereck Chisora a fight.

They're both as bad as each other now imo.

two guys aren't afraid to run or two guys who genuinely dislike each other
it's common sense,
this **** is hurting boxing big time.

He isn't.
Booth and Haye are slimy carnival barkers.

All insiders know why Adam Booth is furious: Because he knows that if the Klitschko vs Chisora fight goes ahead, Haye will have to take on a mandatory challenger or face having the WBA title stripped. The only good thing for Haye is that after that mandatory fight Haye has no further options with his German promoter Sauerland.

Even against Walker, Chagaev still demonstrated remarkably quick hands and a good chin. Not Haye's ideal opponent before Wlad, but given his last farcical defense, he deserves a tough one this time.

Wlad and Vitali are playing chess and Haye and Booth are playing checkers.
They are using Haye's artificial "retirement deadline" against him now, and why not?
There is no real reason Haye HAS to retire this year, other than some silly vow he made to his buddy Adam Booth.
It's bull****, and the K-Bros are calling him on it by putting the pressure on and forcing Haye into a corner.

It seems like the Hayelovers are mentally challenged, they couldn't understand the concept of 50/50 and now this. You all can't read? Wlad WANTS to fight on July 2nd, it's Diva Hayefaker that REFUSES to sign the fight for July 2nd. How is that hard to understand?
