      even though chagaevs promoter said there is no problem for chagaev to fight in england i still doubt it will be easy to get the fight done there because of chagaevs disease!
      and who can blame haye for not wanting to travel ? especially for his mandatory! Wlad didnt even think to come to england or america for a sec.

        Heavyweights always have more media-attention and therefore gain more popularity. But I wouldn't say Haye is far more popular than Amir.

        Haye only has 2,807 more Twitter-followers than Amir. Hardly a wide margin.

          Fan logic these days;

          "The all-time greats like Sugar Ray Robinson fought 10-15 fights a year. Robinson fought Lamotta two times in two months. They don't make them like that anymore."

          "Klitschko fighting two fights in 9 weeks? Gettaoutahereforfu**sake! Nobody in their right mind will fight two fights in that short of a timespan!"

            Is twitter followers restricted to UK peeps tho? Khan is the nuts im a huge fan, i cant split him and Haye but from my experiance with casual fans and hardcore nerds alike, Haye is way more popular for whatever reason

              He can't realistically fight haye nine weeks after chisora. If he gets cut or has some other injury the fight with haye will be cancelled, and apparently he can't even sign on for the fight until after the chisora match?

              What's so important about chisora? Pay the kid some step-aside money. Wlad is not some green fighter, he doesn't need a tuneup before every fight.
              i have to agree with you on this one!

                Wlad's German TV network only gave him dates for April 30th and July 2nd. He wanted Haye on April 30th. But Haye's UK network doesn't want it on April 30th because of the Royal wedding. So July 2nd seems a good date. But July is still far away and Wlad doesn't want a 10 month lay-off especially considering its Haye who he is fighting. The same guy who pulled out in 2009.

                Haye just got hit with some serious karma. We will see now if he still plans on retiring in 2011.
                Wrong, the real reason why they won't do it in April is because Khan is most likely fighting Peterson that month. Sky won't move Khan's fight to accomodate for this HUGE fight, the wedding has nothing to do with it.

                  Hey everyone, especially all you biased klitschko nuthuggers, i have one question:

                  If haye is such an easy fight for the k brothers, like they always say: 'whoever gets to haye first will end his career', and 'it's an easy fight for either of us', or 'i'll give him a pizza face for 12 rounds' blah blah ****ing blah.....

                  Then why is vlad klit so insistant on a tune up fight before fighting haye??? ..... If fighting haye is as easy as they say, surely he doesn't need a tune up....

                    I wouldnt be able to say who is more popular in the UK - Amir or Haye - but I know that a Wlad vs Haye fight beats the **** out of a Khan vs Peterson fight any day of the week!

                    But then Sky will be thinking long term with Khan

                      Amir is now more popular in the UK than Haye. His fight will do very well in PPV sales.
