WBO/WBA lightweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez (52-5, 38KOs) has a lot of options on the table. The three division champion is scheduled to sit down with Golden Boy Promotions in the next few days to discuss his next fight, which is tentative for April 9 in Las Vegas.
He should fight Maidana, I mean, Maidana is coming off a loss, so by ***** logic, he is half the fighter he used to be and should be an easy fight. Plus he's a come forward fighter that should be ideal for a counter puncher to pick apart.
They better keep Marquez away from Kahn...Although his style was effective against the much more crude Maidana, Kahn does the same thing over and over, and has far less improvisational ability than Pacquiao does. This spells doom against a sharp counterpunching technician like Marquez.
If deciding which of those four opponents will bring in the most money is the key to Marquez' next move, a Guerrero fight is obviously out of the question.
