That would be an epic disgrace. If Pac doesn't want to fight Khan, that's fine but don't go after the guy that isn't looked by anyone as even close to the top. If anything Maidana should fight the winner of Bradley/Alexander and then the winner of that can face Pacquaio in the winter. It would be horrible for Manny to go right after Maidana after he just had a loss.

Legendary boxing trainer Freddie Roach stopped by 8CN and gave us a great update on Pacquiao Vs. Mosley. Roach wants to make things clear and stresses to the fans that Shane Mosley will not be an easy fight. He also talks about possible fights for Manny in the future, including one against Marcos Maidana. Roach says a fight between Maidana and Pacquiao would provide fireworks, and 8CN agrees!

Freddie also tells 8CN that a fight between his Amir Khan and Lamont Peterson is close to getting signed. Peterson is coming off of a tough fought draw Vs. Victor Ortiz, and Khan is coming off his hardest fight yet against Maidana.

In the past, Roach advised Khan to clear up the Jr Welterweight Division, so I was kinda expecting that Roach will tell the same thing to Pacman, that is - To clear up the Welterweight Division so as to have a Unified Title!

Roach is a classless man, this fight makes no sense at all...if anything would Khan deserve a shot more? Any Roach or Khan supporter has to find this just a lot absurd. Maidana beat a contender and despite his performance making Khan look vulnerable, he still lost the fight. Why is he even being mentioned as a possible opponent at all for a guy that claims he's a legit 154 champ?
