Yeah, but... what was the QUALITY of the "punches" landed by Oscar? Where they sensational taps or real punches?

A lot of the "punches" Oscar landed would not even qualify as a jab...

Tito was like, "Where is the braveheart that acted like Roberto Duran against and OLD Camacho?"

Look here: The Boxing Clinic Myth is BS. I gave Tito the last 4 rounds and it is safe to say he won at least 2 of the first 8rounds. At worst Draw... NO clinic kids. Get that golden sack out of your mouths. Pull yourself from the rank of millions of screaming Justin Timberlake fans who worshiped the "Golden Boy" back then and think in a way that your father could be proud of you. Buncha golden groupies.

You act like Oscar swollen Tito face. I would answer your question. Oscar very early in the fight had Tito bleeding from his nose.

And, Tito then started blowing his nose, you could see it between the rounds he started blowing his nose, which causes your face to swell up. If anybody knows anything about the sport knows blowing your nose is a no no.

Really Oscar didn't do that damage on Tito face that you might think he did. But, whatever.

oscar outboxed him during the fight.

tito got the gift; but when you run like a chavala for 4 rounds stuff like this happens.

that's why you close out the show.

I had it 7-5(115-113) for Tito as well. And, to clarify you're not Puerto Rican and neither am I.

I have no problem with people thinking Oscar won, I thought it was a close fight. However, to call it a robbery is just ******.

Oscar should have won. Trinidad just wasn't permitted to do anything in the fight. For Oscar to give up 3 rounds and see Trinidad win means Trinidad won at least 4 rounds before the 10th. That didn't happen.

I have watched this fight many times over, many times per year since youtube and broadband internet make it easy to do so, and I to this day can not see how it could be scored for Tito.

Oscar has a history of gassing out in the latter part of the fight especially when you have a stalker like Tito chasing him around the ring. He knew his only option was to not get tagged and poss KO'd on PPV by a "Ruerto Rican." He did the math and decided a "draw" was more impressive than a KO loss and so he ran for 12 minutes.
He took those shots well, but yeah you're right he wanted no part of Tito's left hooks.

Tito is just relentless, he kept coming on, stalking and pressing Oscar til the very end. Never once did he look discouraged. True fighting heart right there.

Oscar won this fight hands down by out boxing Tito Trinidad early on and winning the majority of the rounds and then late he didn't step on the gas pedal and finish strong, he got tired and ran for his life but still he won that fight.

Fights are 12 rounds, not 8. Had he fought the whole fight like he did early, he might have pulled it off. You are fighting the biggest fight of your career, and you purposely give away 4 rounds straight? Oscar might have been stopped as well if he DID fight late. He even admitted that he was completely gassed out from all the energy that he put out and Trinidad is a beast in the late rounds.
