My theory to revive Jermain Taylors career ..

I believe that if jermain is trained by Roach and Ariza he can still get a tittle he has that jerky style with power which a guy like roach would make work, Also since he has been seen eating mc donalds and not training well Ariza would take care of that....

Jermain to me is vry athletic and has power and has somewhat of boxing etiquette to still do something....

And maybe he would get some cherry picking by Roach and start something....

    I know wishfull Thinking...

      He should fight two tune-ups(bums),

Than he should go after Stegiltiz.

Finally he should target Andre Ward.

      Avoid punchers at all cost.

He should stay away from 12 round fights and anybody with more than a 25% KO ratio.

I've always liked taylor. He could have been so much better though. He career will be looked back on as a disapointment. He had so many fights that just didnt go his way. For instance any ref other than steve smoger would have stopped the first pavlik ifght when kelly was doing the chicken dance and taylor would have still been the champ, also if he would have run from froch in the last round or stayed on his feet then he would have won the smw title. But its a case of ifs and buts. If I was taylor i would stay retired and enjoy my health and the millions he's earned.

how good of a living has Taylor made? i mean is he still a multi-millionaire, or has he blown all of his cash?

if he still has some millions in the bank and has invested it properly and could live comfortably for the rest of his life, then he should retire permanently. No use risking his health if he doesn't need to fight to feed himself.

If he's broke, then as a prize fighter, he might need to return to the ring.

He's been on the end of a few brutal stoppages. If he was to return I agree he should fight bums to start off, then go for a top contender. If he loses then he should retire. If he wins, he should go after the weakest champion in the division. If he loses, then retire. If he wins then go for a mega-fight with Sergio Martinez, or a unification fight. Retire after that with a few million in the bank.
