            You're really reaching here.
Povetkin didn't kick anyone's ass that night. Did you see the fight? Because if you did you'd know that the early rounds (when both fighters were still fresh) was all Chambers. Only when he slowed down was Povetkin able to land his shots with any regularity (none of which looked like they hurt Chambers in the slightest, and gutted out a decision). I'm not a big fan of blaming a loss on the loser's lack of preparation, but that was a clear case of that there. And green as Povs was Chambers was just as green. Both fighters have moved on from there, Chambers upwards, Povetkin downwards.

Of course it doesn't, because you're determined to label every fighter in the division a bum. Therefore a win over them proves nothing. Weak though this division may be, there are clear hierarchies of skill within it, and Chambers is by no means near the bottom end. You only have to watch his fights to see that, if you can be bothered.

They've also beaten the best of most every other nationality, and the few who are left are either unwilling to get in the ring with them, or look to pose no real threat at all.

I think Chambers wins that one.

Tarver is an excellent commentator/analyst - much better than the likes of Berstein, Kellerman and the effeminate Farhood. But he's well past his prime as a boxer.
