I agree with this entire post. I wanted Dawson to beat Pascal and was shocked at how it turned out. I was very suprised to see how Pascal fought like a ***** against Hops.

2. Mayweather-Pacquiao failed negotiations (twice). Media and fans are still talking about it even there is no chance (so far) for the fight to get made.

3. String of poor judges and bad refs.

4. Lack of innovative/strategic promotional events. Great fights such as marquez-katsidis, martinez-williams 2, khan-maidana, sotto-antillon only attracted around 5,000 folks for each fight (live gate)... however, garbage fights (according to hardcore fans) such as pacquiao-margarito and hopkins-pascal made significant live gate numbers... hence, garbage fights sell more than great fights?...

That what people are implying before Khan fought Madiana. After they fought, people just said Madiana's power is overrated.

I do agree if Valero didn't go down, we would have seen lots of sick matchups including pac-valero ... assuming valero kept on winning.

Agree 100 percent about Valero. I keep watching his Demarco fight hoping he will come back, that was one hell of a performance. Who knows where the roof was for this guy?
