I've never bought a Bob Arum PPV, he just doesn't convince me on his own. He needs HBO to convince and a lot of people from the looks of it cause Top Rank PPVs don't sell shit so i'm not alone.
I hope they do pass on this fraud of a fight but i doubt it.

I think it will be a late KO or a UD for Martinez (116-112, 117-111 something like that). It's clear Martinez can get hit (just look at the Cintron, Pavlik, and Williams fights) so I know Dzinziruk will touch him up. I don't see any chance of a Dzinziruk KO but I do know he will land and take a few rounds.

I know HBO will put this on their PPV (They did Mosley vs Mora last year), they just aren't excited about it. They still could very easily do a 24/7 for it too because it's Pacquiao.

The thing is the PPV's dont' really effect us as HBO subscribers because it's impact on their budget is almost nil.

I have only seen Dzinziruk fight once and it was on showtime i believe. He seems to have a good jab but who has he beaten to make this fight a must have for HBO? Has he been that impressive in his other fights?

I hope you're right and this is how they will approach all there fighters this year especially the ones who they have allowed to take easy fights constantly.
I get what you're saying but maybe HBO has something in mind for the winner maybe they will finally give the winner a big push. Because you do know Martinez is not a big star himself right? These are generally two unknowns fighting eachother and HBO finally wants to see who the better unknown is. I mean Martinez is obviously known among boxing fans but not general sports fans like Mayweather and Pacquiao are known.

Besides I think Dzinziruk[which I finally learned how to spell his name but still have no idea if i'm pronouncing it right] should get a shot at an elite fighter like Martinez to see where he stands.

They're pretty old in boxing years, they're in their mid 30's, neither of them are huge stars, and it's going to be very interesting to see them because they're southpaws and Dzinziruk is a good boxer and is not crazy about trading. I think this will be an interesting fight. Definitely the best choice for Martinez if you think about it everyone else is occupied and the one's who aren't occupied I just don't see them as good fights. This is the best fight that could be made for both Martinez and Dzinziruk. But it woulda been better to see Dzinziruk prove himself against a Martinez leftover first like Cintron or Williams. I would say Pavlik but his career is "up in the air".

He beat a prime danial Santos

And I would go as far as to say he's arguably the best 154 fighter

Didn't he beat Daniel Santos too? Santos was good at that time he had just whooped prime Margarito.

I say put Dzinziruk in with a fighter like Pavlik or Williams like you said and put Martinez on the card as a co feature with a Pirog or Lee and make this fight matter to everyone who doesnt know about boxing scene. Also it will show us that Dzinziruk belongs in the ring with a fighter like Martinez.
