I think Haye will **** him and then take Hayden up to his room and show her what a Real Man™ looks like.

I'd like to give Hayden a pizza face.

Boxing get's ZERO promotion in the states unless their is a big ppv fight. So kids don't grow up wanting to be HW champ anymore. Instead they see the big money and celebrity NFL, NBA, and MLB stars are making and they want that. Boxing is generally a sport of the poor people. What that means is most of the best boxers come from poverty and box just to eat. Those are the great HOF boxers.

My theory, and that's all it is, is this: The Klitschkos are basically the most dominant fighters in the division. They're also really the only fighters who can make you big money. If you're a decent fighter, then you know that sooner or later you're going to become a mandatory for one of the brothers. In the meantime your sole aim is to pad your record fighting bums and hasbeens and try not to lose your 0. That's what guys like Boytsov, Povetkin, Haye, Solis, even Adamek now, are doing. I doubt any of these fighters really believe they have the ability to beat a Klitschko else they would be challenging themselves by taking on other top contenders, the way Chambers did (IMO the last fighter who really made an honest go of it). So we have a situation where the top guys in the division aren't fighting one another for fear of losing their chance for a big payday. This obviously leads to boring mismatches and a lack of competitive drive in the division as a whole, as well as a general erosion of skills for every fighter concerned. The sad thing is in terms of potential and innate talent I don't think this generation is that bad at all. Look at Chambers vs Povetkin. Pretty decent fight, and probably the last time two top contenders really took each other on. But how many years ago was that now?

There'd probably be a lot more fighters from this country. UFC hasn't helped much either. Again, not an excuse, just an observation.
Which countries, just out of interest?

The thing that gets me about the whole NFL/NHL//NBA/PGA thing (apart from the fact that it smacks of whiny pro-American excuse making) is that it really doesn't explain things at all. Look at the Super Middleweight division, a division in which Europeans have excelled in, us Brits especially. Why is this? Why aren't we all going into soccer, bar none the most popular and well-paid sport in Western Europe? How come we kick so much f... f... frikkin' ass?

A black/American boxer isn't the #1 guy, that's the problem. Sucks Americans can't appreciate the Klits.
