The pound for pound thing is all a perception. Mayweather and Pac may be viewed as the best today, then tomorrow that view changes if Sergio beats another elite fighter. As far I'm concerned Sergio put in work this year and is the best fighter in the world...in my opinion.

Pirog & Sturm has very good chance to kick El Carro ass easy or should martinez drain himself where it hurts at 154 for a money fight. He can wait another year for "Negroid Floyd"til he says YES
He's just taking a stay-busy fight, like Manny's been doing for the last 3 years.

900 dollars is a lot for a poor man who boxes.
I was thinking the other day that some sports stars don't get paid much at all, but then thought that there are people who do small events that must get paid very little, but they also get to train and do what they love.
There are lots of people who pay to go gym, MMA and boxing gyms. If they get to fight and make money, then why not?
Obviously Martinez has become a big boy and his money will come.

Whats crazy is how Margarito made more in one fight against Pacquiao than Martinez has made in his entire career. No wonder he doesnt want to fight someone his own size when he can fight a welterweight. This would be like Pacquiao calling out Calderon.
