HBO's Ross Greenburg was ****** to drop Bute after those two KO wins.

I'm hoping Showtime will pick up the Haye-Wlad fight.

i cant see showtime getting this fight unless wlad tries to make some kind of point after being dropped by hbo earlier. hbo still brings the most money and exposure and usually gets the big name fights like this. showtime has been outdoing hbo by having the best fight the best in overlooked divisions rather than airing the top p4p fighters in mismatches. hbo is gonna want this fight though and they bring the money so they will probably get it.

im hoping showtime gets it though, much better coverage imo. much, much, much better.

Perhaps not. I've read HBO want the fight to take place in the US or at 2 AM in Europe so they show it live in the evening in the USA.

Both Wlad and Haye agree they can make more money if they have it in Europe (UK or Gemany) at prime time there.

So it may or may not be on HBO.

Showtime is great the only thing i don't like is you need to pay for every fight on showtime in the UK but HBO are always on Sky Sports.

Showtime has been the home of the hardcore fan for awhile,Hbo puts up big names and half the time they are mismatches.

Agree with alot of the previous comments. Showtime is putting on better fights and maybe soon will start to challenge hbo in the money column as well.

HBO needs to dump lampley merchant and lederman. Way past their prime. **** **** ****, one question interviews with obvious displeasure and ridiculous scorecards are not befitting of the biggest boxing broadcaster in america.

This is exactly it, green K!

I wish more casual fans would tune in more to showtime, the sport might get better recognition.
