Taylor suffers from the DLH syndrome; gassing out too early.
Even though this is a race-bait thread, there might be a point about the euro style fighters for Taylor.
With a weak defense like Taylor's, where he keeps his left hand low without utilizing shoulder roll to block right hands, perhaps he is more vulnerable to a straight up, stand-up boxing style which are often stereotyped to European boxers.
This would be because the punches from such a stereotype style would come from a higher stance/guard than most american fighters use, and therefore landing higher on the head above the shoulder of Taylor.
Of course, this would be speculative and rubbish without any statistical analysis of fights between Taylor and his european opponents compared to his american opponents.Comment
