If it only costs 10k in order to get a 10m pay day then it really doesn't sit with me the cost or who pays for it issue
Everyone talks costs etc but does anyone actually know what it costs ????

Originally posted by deuce_drop View Postthis is lame, there are bigger issues in boxing than these ****** drug tests. one for instance is the judging and scoring. or what about poor refereeing? boxing politics and favoritism's, promoters and managers screwing the fighters, or how about the sanctioning bodies fleecing the fighters and making outrageous demands so that only certain fights get made.
drug tests and testing is apart of boxing, but so is the governing bodies, who make the test requirements and the like, there is more need for the credibility of boxing as a sport and institution that needs to be corrected and needs more attention that some MORE drug testing.
how about drug testing for the judges and refs? lets take it a step further, why not investigate the judges and refs for conflict of interests in certain fights or venues???
why not be concerned about that? rather than some individual aspect of the sport...
all this crap is a black eye to the sport, it's a assault on boxing from within, when the real problems are being ignored.
fans demand and want more drug testing, bullsheit, we want fair and honest fights, and judging and scoring. once we have that fixed then lets look to make boxing more efficient.
lets look to make boxing better..... extra drug testing, ost, whatever the heel is being called for, isnt going to make things better, just waste time and money, it isnt going to add credibility to the sport, it's noting going to make boxing and better or worse and since there is no boxing union or general governing body to mandate and control such a policy, it would make for the ultimate excuse as to not fight a guy, or to even fix fights, don't think for a second that any drug test isnt cheat-able, don't think for one second that they're infallible, because they're easily cheated, easily corruptible, and has a WIDE variety of ways of being tainted or compromised.....
why cant these so called fans not see and look at the real problems facing our sport and address them, make them the focus of what is important in boxing and the topic of discussion? not some distraction that is designed to keep our eyes off of the real problems and corruption.
drug test refs, judges, and lobotomize half wit fans with this bullchit crybaby crap about drug tests, for **** sake.

"I have to think Pacquiao is unaware of this," Schaefer said. "The drug testing
had been part of the contract for a while and then they suddenly said no...Suddenly they changed course and I don't know why."

people who are claiming pac accepted it and then changed his mind are just delusional fanboys with a hidden agenda.
there was a tweet from steve kim but it's all about what he was told, no more no less. he didn't even say who told him.
