Marquez is a warrior for fighting Katsidis who was KO by old Casamayor and beaten by c class fighter diaz who had 5 loses on his last 6 fights...Both Casa and Diaz lost against Marquez and still joke Marquez fought Katsidis...He's really a warrior fighting his same size or smaller than him opponent who are bums and c and d class fighter....

take a look a trilogies in the sport and you will see them being made with fighters with similar outcomes on their previous fights. It's not far-fetched to ask for a trilogy.


Pac has proven he belongs at 147 i'm not going to question that, but why make it at 147 to begin with? Ariza has said that pacquiao can easily make 140. Pacquiao skipped every good opposition at 135 and 140. To fight two b-level, one-dimensional, come-forward sparring partners who had already been exposed by other opponent and he's going after a shot fighter who was good 5 years ago possibly due to the fact that he was on epo. Sounds familiar to me. He also showed a propensity for getting counterpunched.

Jmm didn't ask for 5m, it was the buy out price along with jmm pay. Now, top rank has no trouble giving antonio margarito a big paycheck even after his handwrap scandal. Jmm is a bigger draw, they have more history together and the rivalry is very appealing. This fight is by far more lucrative than the margarito, cotto or clottey fight. The thrid time, oscar screwd jmm chances by taking what he thought it would be an easy fight, while leaving marquez out of the equation.

In the first fight - which btw, ended in an official draw - Manny knocked Marquez down 3 times in the first round, and broke his nose..... and yet STILL couldn't beat him.....

In the second fight, the entire developed world saw Marquez beat Manny, just look at Manny's face before they announced the winner. He knew he lost that fight.

Even above Marquez' best weight, and past his prime, he beat Manny in the rematch..... we all saw it.

But that was back when Pac was normal..... a fight against the "new" and "improved" Pacquiao should obviously take place at 140.

Marquez will still be disadvantaged at 140, but JMW is fair.

You see, here is why you are a whiney b1tch, and why you persist in hiding behind your "JMM must prove himself" rubbish.....

1.) Manny did not prove himself at 147 before fighting Hoya
2.) Manny did not prove himself at 154 before getting his title shot
3.) But by insisting that Manny is a WW/JMW, and by insisting that Marquez has to "prove himself" at 147, ..... you get to keep Manny safe fighting oldies and shop-worn's

But.....
if that fight were to take place at 140, then it is simply a case of one champion going up a division to challenge the top guy at the next weight, which has been happening in boxing forever.

Manny is a natural JWW, and can easily make 140 according to Ariza/Roach.

That would be a much fairer fight even though Manny would still have a significant advantage over the 37yo midget, it would be much better for boxing, and it would be much better for Manny's legacy.

That is why you keep insisting that the fight should take place at WW, even though it defies common sense. So that the step is too far for Marquez, and so that he should have to "prove himself" at 147.
