i love these *******s, thhey mmake me laugh, donīt get me wrong i like pacquiao, he is one of my favorite boxers.. but these pacman nuthuggers all thhey do is repeat what they read in the internet, like Marquez fighting berto to prove himself at welter or Marquez pricing himself out of the Pacquiao fight hahhahah is all they read, do some research, learn the facts (real facts) and come up with you OWN opinion. Donīt repeat what Bob Arum said. The thing is Marquez and Pacquiao styles make for a very good fight, now was the time the REAL boxing fans (note real boxing fans not just pacquiao fans) wanted the fight with Marquez instead of Mosley.

Its such a shame that this forum is crashing down because ****** people who know nothing about boxing.

People can't see the plain and simple truth of this matter. Pac does not feel any obligation to be charitable to Marquez either by giving him a payday or fighting him at a lower catchweight, not after the way Marquez disrespected him. Marquez needs to accept that he cannot dictate the terms; he can only accept what is given to him.

Marquez disrespected Pacquiao but in the ring and twice.

Lead you are one those with sensible post but honestly man, If I said those things to you, would you give me green karma??? Exactly...

Now relate this to jmm's hurling of insults and taunts. Let us not talk about the weight and sharing issues in the pac/jmm3. Let us assume that these are non-issues. Do you honestly think Pac would be eager to give jmm a payday in spite of his taunts and insults? Would you blame pac for it?

I myself would like to see Pac/jmm 3. I said this numerous times in some of my post, but I honestly don't think its going to happen. Unless, jmm learns some classy approaches to land the pac rematch.

        peace man.
Sorry, I don't buy that theory.

I don't think that this has anything to do with Pac feeling " insulted ".

And, Manny can put up with Marquez - and everybody else - calling him a coward until he fronts up and fights somebody with a pulse.

There is a reason why almost all of the top P4P fighters have publicly slammed Manny's resume..... Manny has to deal with it, coz it won't stop just because he retires.

            Exactly.

Pac wasn't " disrespected " by the offer.....

..... he was disrespected in the ring..... TWICE !!

Fact is, he gave the then one-dimensional Pac two tough fights at featherweight and super-featherweight that could've gone either way, but were officially registered as a draw and a loss for JMM.
Take a look a trilogies in the sport and you will see them being made with fighters with similar outcomes on their previous fights. It's not far-fetched to ask for a trilogy.

Fact is, since those fights, Pac has proven that he belongs at welterweight by whipping top WWs, except for Mosley (who he is fighting next), Berto (whose turn may come after Mosley), and the inactive Mayweather (who is on vacation).

Fact is, JMM failed to prove that he belongs to the WW division after his lopsided loss to Mayweather.

Fact is, since the Mayweather loss, JMM has only fought two B-level, one-dimensional, come-forward brawlers who had already been exposed by other opponents. He also showed a propensity for getting knocked down.
Pac has proven he belongs at 147 I'm not going to question that, but why make it at 147 to begin with? Ariza has said that Pacquiao can easily make 140. Pacquiao skipped every good opposition at 135 and 140. To fight two B-level, one-dimensional, come-forward sparring partners who had already been exposed by other opponent and he's going after a shot fighter who was good 5 years ago possibly due to the fact that he was on EPO. Sounds familiar to me. He also showed a propensity for getting counterpunched.
Fact is, JMM asked Top Rank for far more than what he previously received from GBP for fighting Floyd when he offered to fight Pac recently. The fact is that this was the third time that he out-priced himself when negotiating with Pac.
JMM didn't ask for 5m, it was the buy out price along with JMM pay. Now, Top Rank has no trouble giving Antonio Margarito a big paycheck even after his handwrap scandal. JMM is a bigger draw, they have more history together and the rivalry is very appealing. This fight is by far more lucrative than the Margarito, Cotto or Clottey fight. The thrid time, Oscar screwd JMM chances by taking what he thought it would be an easy fight, while leaving Marquez out of the equation.

Fact is, Pac will whip JMM's ass so bad at JWW (if he feels charitable enough to grant JMM that) or WW that these same people asking for a trilogy will be ridiculing Pac for fighting another old, shot, faded and over-blown fighter.

              Facts hurt.
Now you have gone from half thought facts to mere opinon and assumptions. Guess who Pacquiao is fighting... An old, shot, faded and defeated fighter. At JWW Marquez will only be old, he's far from shot and faded. being at 140 marquez can easily be 137.

              Your Facts don't hurt

Marquez demanded 5M plus 5/ppv total of 18M.....Floyd dominated, scored a knockdown, won a shutout against a joke fighter in Marquez..Marquez vs Floyd had only almost 1m ppv buys and Marquez last fight where berto was in the undercard had a gate attendance of less than 5k.while

Mosley demanded 3M plus 1/ppv total 7M....Fared better against Marquez who almost KO twice and made Floyd chicken dance and held him for dearlife wants less. Mosley vs Floyd had 1.5M ppv buys and Mosley last fight against a bigger runner Mora attracted more than 13K.....

and now who is marketable in terms of PPV buys and gate attendance? Who is more competitive at WW? ITS MOSLEY!!!!!!
