Haye will beat Wlad because:

Hes faster and speed kills (yada yada yada), Wlad won't see those crisp fast punches coming
Haye will be running so Wlad will be chasing and will have to reset alot
Haye will take Wlad into deep waters IMO and Wlad has never coped well when pressured (Peter should've KO'd him, but got carried away).
Haye will hit harder than Wlad expects
Wlad is thinking this will be an easy fight
Haye looks hungry and really motivated right now, he has that Carl Froch aura about him that he may have a suspect chin, but he will let the rest of his assets make up for being chinny
Haye is years ahead of Chambers, Ibragimov, Peter, Chagaev and anyone else Wlad has faced to date

Wlad will beat Haye because Haye struggled to get past the slow, weak jab of John Ruiz. Wlad has the hardest jab in boxing and can keep Haye on the end of it as long as he wants. Wlad will beat Haye because Haye only fights in bursts. He has zero chance of tiring Wlad out, and will give Wlad all the time he wants to find the distance for his jab. Wlad will beat Haye because Haye cant stay on the inside to fight and rough Wlad up. Like I said, he fights in ambush bursts. Wlad will beat Haye because Haye has never been hit with a punch even bordering on how hard Wlad hits. Wlad will win because he has the height that will force Haye to punch up, which slows his punches down, and reducing the power when you have to reach. Wlad will win because Haye's power at Heavyweight is overrated. He took forever to beat an ancient Ruiz, and yet Tua was able to put a prime Ruiz out cold in a few seconds of one round. Wlad will win because he has more experience at the top level as a heavyweight, and has more experience in the pressure cooker of the big fight.

On the other side

Haye will win because he will be able to time a counter to Wlad's jab, and get him with a blinding punch that he never see's coming. Haye will win because he is a better athlete, and has quicker hands. Haye will win because Wlad cannot make any mistakes or his chin will be checked. Haye will win because he will be willing to take more chances to land on Wlad then anyone Wlad has fought in years.

Beautiful post. While watching the Ruiz fight, I kept thinking the whole time that if Ruiz can land his jab that easy, Wlad will have an incredibly easy time beating Haye. Not to mention Ruiz was landing his right far too often, the punch Wlad wants to throw after his jab.

Basically, the only chance Haye has is the KO, and I don't think he is good enough to finish Wlad off that way.

I think Haye will beat wlad for the reason that he's more adaptable and more comfortable with different situations in a boxing ring, lets be honest neither guys has faced someone has good as the other despite what klitschko fans will have you believe, both guys imo will be put in difficult situations in the fight. Wlad is a very good boxer but very predictable. One thing about that european/soviet style, the greatest exponents of it, guys like wlad and kostya tszyu as 2 modern examples...both were always beatable throughout their career, basically because their is inate weaknesses in that style of boxing in every single fight, it doesn't matter if manny steward or whoever is training him, manny has improved wlad but still within the restrictions of his style.

Wlad can win because he has physical advantages, his ability to land the jab consistently on an opponent far more elusive than what he is use to will be his key to victory. Using his size and feet to control the distance, like he does in all his fights, but I have to stress that haye is a different proposition all together.

Wlad need to stay focused for every minute of every round, I think mentally he is underestimating haye, and that is a huge mistake, because haye despite all his trash talking knows that against wlad he is in for the fight of his life. But the way wlad is talking he is dismissing haye as a challenge

Every fight is different, do you think that haye would fight wlad the same way? I hate when fans see a fighter making mistakes and presume they will make that mistake against another fighter. Ruiz jab and offense presented very little danger to haye, you can see he is thinking more about his own offense and counters rather than defense. Ruiz has intangible qualities that wlad just doesn't have, like the spirit and bravery of a fighter, not to mention a great chin. Wlad by nature is a cautious fighter, like he has said many times himself, vitali was born a fighter, he had to master the technical side of the game.

Wlad is a wonderful boxer, but can be taken out of his comfort zone easier than most top level guys, he will not be coming forward like ruiz did, I think he will find it tough to hit haye and could get anxious especially if haye lands a few counters. Its an intriguing fight either way, both guys have speed, power, and questionable chins, but I just see haye more willing to put it on the line and land his bombs, he will be more agressive and that will get him the ko. There is always the danger that wlad walks him onto something, but how many times have you seen wlad walk a fighter on to a great counter? When I see punches being thrown at him, he generally becomes dis-organised and grabs hold.
