Cotto too- he fights anybody, but he still buckles sometimes.

Froch will fight anybody anywhere as well..

Exactly. People give him crap for losing a few, but he could have not took on the best and he would have a better record but he was a true competitor and faught everybody, his competitive nature even worked to a fault sometimes like the decision to shrink to the catch weight in the Pacquiao fight.

And to the TS Yes, I love boxing but it frusterates me greatly theese days.
Fighters who I feel would truly fight anyone like Pacquiao and Cotto are in cherry picked fights because of their promoters/trainers/managers etc.
While other guys(haye, others) don't want to fight the best, just care about the most possible money they can make.

I'm not really frustrated by the boxing, because there are quite a lot exciting fights. Guys like Bradley, Mosley, Donaire, Montiel, Froch, Maidana, Klitschko, Martinez would fight anyone anywhere.

            Promoters..

Blame the promoters. If Arum and DLH could just kiss and make up, imagine the fights that we could have.

I'm over boxing to be honest, both training in it and watching it. It is a load of ****. The main reason I still come on here is for the lounge.

I can see how you can be done watching it. But training it I am surprised no matter what promoters do they can not take away that love for the sport that you have in the gym when training.

This. The guys that become superstars end up as parodies of themselves.

Arum/Cotto turn down excellent fights with Angulo, Cintron, and ****ing Martinez in order to avoid a loss until the Margarito rematch? Margarito. Really?

Keep your eyes on the likes of Donaire, Bradley, Gamboa, ect. They're still young/unfamous enough to take on the challenges and make great fights.

Once a fighter becomes a real PPV draw, him taking on any real challenges is a rarity.

I just miss the golden age where you couldn't even be a boxer without being tough as fuck and fearless, and everybody fought everybody, no excuses, no distractions. The best fighting the best to prove who wants it the most.

That's what drew me into the sport, because I wanted to be like that.. but it gets worse every year.

why dont u give MMA a try im sure ul love it cause in ufc the best fights the best, no ducking and no fixed fights. Im also frustrated with boxing because my favorite boxer Floyd is still hiding from Pac but i still watch popular boxers fight.
